A s we occupy this barren land in anticipation of the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. We must come to grips with the fact that while we are still earthen vessels, it is our ultimate privilege and responsibility to allow God's Glory to be revealed in us
Y ou see brothers and sisters, God made us in his image and after his likeness but when Adam sinned we died. God did not respond to man's fall as He did when the Angels fell. Instead of making a pit (abousso) God had a plan prepared from before the foundation of the world.
A t first glance one would have a tendency to wonder why God would bother at all. One angel even asked, according to Hebrews 2:6, What is man, that thou are mindful of him?..." Well the answer to why comes to us from Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus. "That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of this grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."
W
hat a Mighty God we serve! He loved us so much that He put off some of his glory that He might reveal Himself in fleshly human form (the Son of God). That He might be the propitiation for our sins.

o, saints of God, no matter what 1999 has brought your way. No matter what obstacles were placed in your path. Know that the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein...Since it all belongs to God, we surely ought to let him come in and reveal His glory unto us. "Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting door; and the King of glory shall come in...Who is this King of glory? The Lord of host, He is the King of glory."
